Handheld refractometer is a precision optical instrument used to measure liquid concentration. It has the characteristics of simple operation, easy carrying, convenient use, less measuring liquid, accurate and rapid. It is a necessary instrument for machining and lotion measurement of mine stones.
Mainly used to determine the content of cutting fluid and emulsion in mechanical processing.
Technical Parameter
1)The optical system has a magnification of 3 times.
2)Main types of measurement range and minimum scale:
Measurement range: M-10 0~15%; MDT 0~15%
Accuracy: 0.5%
Dimensions: 4 × 4 × 20 (cm)
Weight: 230g
Measurement procedures
1)Align the refractive prism ① with the direction of light and adjust the eyepiece's visual acuity ring ⑤ until the marking line is clear. (Note: Because the instrument is sensitive to temperature, do not touch the front metal part with your fingers during use.).
)
2)Adjustment benchmark: Before measurement, first make the standard solution (purified water), instrument, and test liquid based on the same temperature. Open cover plate ②, then take 1-2 drops of standard liquid onto the refractive prism, and gently press cover plate ② with your hand to obtain a light dark boundary line. Rotate the calibration bolt ③ to align the light dark boundary line in the eyepiece field of view with the reference line (0%).
3)Open cover plate ②, wipe the surface of the prism with a soft cloth, take 1-2 drops of the measured solution and drop it onto the refractive prism. Cover plate ② and gently press it to read the relative scale of the light dark boundary line, which is the content of the measured liquid.
4)After the measurement is completed, use a damp cloth to wipe off any attachments on the surface of the prism and the cover plate. After drying, store them properly.
Precautions and Maintenance
1)After use, it is strictly prohibited to rinse directly with tap water to prevent water from entering the optical system pipeline.
2)During use and maintenance, it should be handled with care and carefully maintained. The surface of optical components should not be damaged or scratched.
3)This instrument should be stored in a dry, dust-free, and non corrosive gas environment to prevent mold growth on the surface of optical components.
4)The prism in contact with the tested object is a consumable and cannot be repaired. Please understand.
5)Users must follow the above usage methods. Any damage caused is not covered by the warranty and will not be covered by the warranty.
